On September 17, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in the UAE hosted a grand reception to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Chinese Ambassador to the UAE, Zeng Jixin, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence; Saeed Bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UAE government representatives, high-ranking officials, heads of diplomatic missions to the UAE, representatives of Chinese-funded enterprises and institutions, overseas Chinese, all in total over 700 people, attended the reception.
In his speech, Ambassador Zeng elaborated on the significant achievements and global contributions of Chinese modernization, highlighted President Xi Jinping's four-point framework on promoting common security in the Middle East, and expressed his hope that the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and the UAE would reach new heights.
The reception was held in a friendly and warm atmosphere, where modern technology and traditional culture complemented each other. Exhibits such as low-altitude flying cars, China-made new energy vehicles, and robots were on display, showcasing the vitality of China's development. In addition, the most well-known works “Xi Jinping: The Governance of China V” and books about China were also exhibited on site. The China National Peking Opera Company presented classic Peking Opera performance. All guests wished prosperity for China and extended good wills for the friendship between China and the UAE.
