On August 25, 2026, Ambassador Zeng Jixin paid a visit to H.E. Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of UAE National Media Authority. H.E. Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi, Secretary General of National Media Authority, was also present.
Ambassador Zeng stated that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-UAE relations have maintained a good momentum of development, with increasingly in-depth cooperation in areas such as Media. China and UAE share similar principles and mutual understanding. China is willing to further strengthen media exchanges with UAE, enhance mutual understanding, build consensus on friendship, and contribute lasting momentum to the long-term development of China-UAE relations.
H.E. Abdulla stated that China and UAE share solid relations, with enormous potential and broad prospects for cooperation in various fields. He looks forward to more varieties of exchange and cooperation in the media field between two countries, actively exploring new paths for new technologies to empower media development, and playing a positive role in advancing the traditional friendship between China and UAE, and promoting mutual understanding between the two peoples.
