On August 4, 2026, Chinese Ambassador to the UAE Zeng Jixin paid a visit to H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade.The two sides exchanged views on strengthening China-UAE economic and trade cooperation.
Ambassador Zeng stated that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, the China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership has continued to deepen, yielding fruitful outcomes in economic and trade cooperation. The UAE has long maintained its position as China's largest export market and largest investment destination in the West Asia and North Africa region. China is willing to work hand in hand with the UAE to further explore the potential for trade and investment cooperation and enhance mutually beneficial cooperation.
Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi highly praised the achievements in China-UAE economic and trade cooperation, stating that bilateral trade and investment cooperation has strong momentum and enormous potential. He expressed the willingness to strengthen exchanges and visits at all levels with China, enhance pragmatic cooperation, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
