On July 21, Ambassador Zeng Jixin paid a visit to H.E. Mohamed Al Mubarak, Chairman of Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, upon assuming his post.
Ambassador Zeng stated that in recent years, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and the UAE has maintained a good momentum of development, with active people-to-people exchanges and fruitful cooperation in culture, art, tourism, and other fields, contributing positive force to the development of bilateral relations. China attaches great importance to people-to-people exchanges and cooperation with the UAE, and is willing to work hand in hand with relevant UAE sectors to continuously enrich China-UAE relations.
H.E. Mohamed highly praised the important role of people-to-people exchanges in promoting mutual understanding between two peoples, emphasizing that cooperation in related fields has broad prospects and great potential. The UAE is willing to continue to maintain close communication and cooperation with China to jointly create more high-quality people-to-people exchange achievements, turn the high-level China-UAE relations into rich cultural practices, and strengthen the friendly ties between China and the UAE.
