On July 15, Ambassador Zeng Jixin paid a courtesy visit to Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Ras Al-Khaimah. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on China-UAE friendly relations, pragmatic exchanges and cooperation.
Ambassador Zeng stated that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-UAE relations have entered their best period in history, with increasingly close exchanges and cooperation in various fields, becoming a model of relations between China and countries in the region. As an important part of the UAE, the Emirate of Ras Al-Khaimah plays a positive and important role in promoting China-UAE economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges. China is willing to continue to deepen bilateral exchanges and cooperation, constantly contributing more pragmatic elements to the China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership.
Sheikh Saud warmly welcomed Ambassador Zeng to his new post and highly praised China's development achievements and its contributions to regional peace, stability, and prosperity. He stated that the Emirate of Ras Al-Khaimah attaches great importance to its relations with China, and is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with China in various fields such as economy and trade, culture and tourism, to jointly benefit the people of both countries.
