On March 9, 2026, newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to the UAE, H.E.Zeng Jixin, presented a copy of his credentials to H.E. Omar Obaid Alhesan Alshamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Zeng stated that China and the UAE are comprehensive strategic partners. In recent years, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Sheikh Mohamed, China-UAE relations have reached their best period in history, becoming a model for relations between China and Arab countries. I am willing to work with the UAE to fully implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and promote China-UAE relations to a higher level.

Undersecretary H.E.Omar welcomed Ambassador Zeng to his new post, emphasizing that the UAE attaches great importance to developing relations with China, and is willing to work with China to enhance cooperation in various fields. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs is willing to provide support and facilitation for Ambassador Zeng in carrying out his duties.
