On March 7, 2026, newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to the UAE, H.E.Zeng Jixin, went to Dubai International Airport to see off stranded Chinese boarding the first additional flight back to China. Consul General H.E.Ou Boqian also participated.

Ambassador Zeng stated that the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party is deeply concerned about the safety of overseas Chinese abroad. In recent days, in accordance with the arrangements of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, various sectors of the Chinese government, Embassies and Consulates have been working tirelessly to coordinate flights between China and other countries to assist stranded Chinese passengers in returning home, and to provide necessary assistance during their stay abroad. The Chinese government is continuing to urgently coordinate and dispatch more flights to orderly bring back Chinese citizens stranded in Middle Eastern countries.

Please rest assured, fellow Chinese. The motherland will always be your strongest support, and the Chinese Embassies and Consulates will always be your safe harbors.
