In order to further facilitate personnel exchanges, the following adjustments to visas and entry policies for foreign nationals to China will be effective from March 15, 2023, Beijing time:

1. Foreign nationals holding valid visas issued before 28 March 2020 are allowed to enter the mainland of China.

2. Embassy of China in the UAE and Consulate-General of China in Dubai could accept application of all categories of visa for foreign nationals. For details, please refer to Information for Foreigners Applying for Visas to the People’s Republic of China (Updated in March 2023).

3. Port visa authorities will resume to issue all categories of port visa complied with statutory reasons (For details, please contact the port visa authorities of the intended destination ).

4. Resuming Hainan visa-free policy, visa-free policy specified for foreign cruise-group-tour through Shanghai Port, Guangdong visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups from HongKong or Macao SAR, and Guangxi visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups of ASEAN countries (For  details, please contact the immigration inspection authorities of the intended destination).
